Covenant of Mayors - Event in Brussels

With the aim to spread out the adhesion to the European Initiative "Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy" and to enhance the process toward the adoption of climate adaptation and mitigation policies and plans within the regional Local Authorities, Marche Region, in collaboration with its Delegation in Brussels, SVIM, the Committee of the Regions (CoR), the Covenant of Mayors and ANCI - Marche, promoted the participation of local authorities to the event "Covenant of Mayors - Regional best practices and financing opportunities towards 2030 objectives".
A delegation of 35 Mayors from Marche Region (included several LIFE SEC ADAPT project Partners), led by Mrs Manuela Bora - Marche Region Councilor responsible for EU policies also, had the opportunity to learn about actions, measures and new financing models for Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans, in line with the objectives outlined by the European Energy and Climate Framework 2030.
